For the love of hope

Come to think of LOVE, and daring still is to make an attempt to even write about it at 30 plus! How and where to start from is the challenge, whether to start from a good morning greeting, a nice cup of hot tea on a cold and frosty morning, planning for the entire day on a breakfast table, afternoon whereabouts and lunch enquiries to a warm evening welcome, a stress free walk, watching the sun set slowly together, taking pictures for memories, endless talks just before you call it a day and hoping still for an even greater and adventurous next day! Sounds absolutely perfect for a good start but what happens in between is a far greater challenge that silently ’KILLS’ all the rituals one ever dreamt to perform for a perfect love life balance.
A lot has already been written on what love is and what it is not, but can you ever know what love is or not? Well, for some it’s just so easy to fall in and rise above, for others it’s never too late to realise it and then there are those for whom it’s just beyond relationships!
Love is not for sure asking for something and then getting it as well… like a necklace or a ring, may be… but love certainly is not asking for it and yet getting what you may be wishing or longing for…like a velvety sponge cake that just melts in your mouth, a spark of kindle to brighten the dark, a pair of TV headphones for the love of your love and so much more from your unwritten wish list sometimes, may be…
Love for sure is an absolutely over-rated emotion handpicked by a few card companies to celebrate ‘SEASONAL LOVE’and also market dreams in between those folds of pink and red paper to the most impressionable young tweenies’.
But not anymore as these lovelorn teenagers are far more mature and much REAL than they were a decade ago. Ask them about love and straight comes the reply, “Dogs are much more loveable and loyal, would prefer to settle down with a one.” The transition phase starts only after initial six months of falling in so called love when everything else fades away and dies, but what remains is the two of you trying to walk together but on parallel roads. Love for sure is an abstract feeling for those who just experience their initial heart breaks, but brave enough to realise that happy journey doesn’t take you to the core to appreciate its existence.And then there are those who are living in the hope that one day for sure they will find that perfect sweater that just fits so well and enhances their beauty.
Love for sure can’t be explained and yet endless attempts could be made, may be…but it definitely can be is seen in the excitement of that lil one who braves a day-long separation from his mother not just for a day but for days and months together, with less complaints and a few desires, may be…love for sure is felt in an irresistible desire of a mother to be irresistibly desired, not just for a few days and months, but years together, may be…
